Associate Attorney

Fortitude HR Solutions has been engaged to conduct a search for an Associate Attorney. Our client, a Law Firm with offices in Broome and Steuben County, NY, provides expert legal representation in estate planning, trusts, business law, real estate, etc. for both individuals and businesses. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for both, Business law duties including entity formation, succession planning, contracts, tax advice, and commercial real estate as well as Personal law duties including: estate planning and administration, charitable planning, real estate, elder law, and special needs planning.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

· Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing

· NY license

· 1 to 3+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney

· Analytical, legal research, and writing skills

· Understand the importance of creating rapport, developing trust and becoming a holistic advisor for clients and their families

· Understanding of estate and tax planning, business planning and elder law preferred
