Overview:
The Maintenance Technician supports all aspects of daily production operations, which includes equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance activities, rebuilds, and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with production and other personnel to diagnose issues & complete job assignments in a timely manner
- Support production with planned/unplanned work activities as assigned
- Support all type of machine breakdown repairs including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls
- Work directly with Team Leaders for production downtime/efficiency improvements
- Participate in shift meeting and other meetings as assigned
- Participate in all training activities as required to improve and master job duties as assigned
- Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested
- Support new model activities as assigned
- Demonstrate good communication skills for shift pass down information including production equipment daily performance, machine breakdown follow up
- Complete equipment PM’s as assigned
- Support environmental improvement activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Additional education (Associate's, Bachelor's, Certifications, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting & repairing industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- The ability to work independently, or as a member of a team while adhering to procedures, protocols, and SOPs
