Overview:

The Maintenance Technician supports all aspects of daily production operations, which includes equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance activities, rebuilds, and efficiency improvements.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production and other personnel to diagnose issues & complete job assignments in a timely manner
  • Support production with planned/unplanned work activities as assigned
  • Support all type of machine breakdown repairs including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls
  • Work directly with Team Leaders for production downtime/efficiency improvements
  • Participate in shift meeting and other meetings as assigned
  • Participate in all training activities as required to improve and master job duties as assigned
  • Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested
  • Support new model activities as assigned
  • Demonstrate good communication skills for shift pass down information including production equipment daily performance, machine breakdown follow up
  • Complete equipment PM’s as assigned
  • Support environmental improvement activities
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Additional education (Associate's, Bachelor's, Certifications, etc.) preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience troubleshooting & repairing industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • The ability to work independently, or as a member of a team while adhering to procedures, protocols, and SOPs
