Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and estimate environmental remediation projects. This hybrid role will require periodic travel across the Midwest to manage projects and engage with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring experience in project management and estimating, coupled with a deep understanding of environmental remediation processes and a commitment to excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Leading and managing environmental remediation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.


Estimating:

  • Preparing detailed and competitive cost estimates for environmental remediation projects.
  • Analyzing project specifications and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to define project requirements.
  • Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and value.


Client Relations:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management and estimating within the environmental remediation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and remediation techniques.
  • Proficiency with project management software and estimating tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the Midwest as required.
