Lakeview Veterinary in Wisconsin is adding an Associate DVM to our busy and thriving Veterinary Practice This opportunity is open to candidates who have graduated from an accredited Veterinary school and qualify for or already possess licensure in the state of Wisconsin. Candidates with the following knowledge, skills and abilities are encouraged to apply
Qualifications
Both experienced DVMs and new graduates are welcome To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:
- Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
- License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Wisconsin, or qualify for licensure.
- USDA accreditation required (we can help with this)
- Diagnostic/Surgical skills highly desired
- Eagerness to learn and interest in working with cats, dogs, and some occasional exotics.
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a must
- Be knowledgeable and skilled in the practice of veterinary medicine and general soft tissue surgery
- Possess excellent marketing skills to justify and encourage diagnostic and treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
- A team oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
- An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets
- An interest in practicing integrative medicine, or bringing a personal specialty to our patients is encouraged.
Hours & Availability
This is a part or full time opening We will work around YOUR schedule, so let us know when YOU are available Our current hours of operation are below:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Ideal candidate will be available for rotational weekends
