  • Mechanical Systems Design: Own the design of critical mechanical systems including structural elements, thermal management solutions, and electromechanical systems. Develop comprehensive 3D models and technical documentation using CAD tools.
  • Design Analysis & Validation: Conduct thorough engineering analysis including FEA, CFD, and thermal simulations to validate designs. Lead prototype development and testing to verify performance against requirements.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with industrial design, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and production requirements. Mentor junior engineers and guide external design partners.
  • Rapid Design Iteration: Drive fast-paced design iterations through the product development cycle, from concept to production, while maintaining high standards and meeting aggressive timelines.

Qualifications: Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of mechanical design experience with emphasis on complex electromechanical systems
  • Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and PDM/PLM systems
  • Demonstrated experience in thermal management system design and analysis
  • Strong background in structural design and analysis using FEA tools
  • Proven track record of developing products from concept through production
  • Excellence in DFM/DFA principles and techniques
  • Strong technical leadership skills with ability to mentor others

  • Experience in battery thermal management systems
  • Background in automotive or energy storage product development
  • Experience with rapid prototyping technologies and methods
  • Proficiency in CFD analysis and simulation tools
  • Experience with industrial design collaboration and aesthetic integration
