The Role.  

We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative, and results-orientated Freelance Graphics Operator to join our dynamic and growing US team at AE Live. Reporting to the Graphic Supervisor and working closely with colleagues around the globe, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of graphics for our on-air productions, ensurig projects are delivered in line with all agreed parameters. 

Your Role Accountabilities. 

• Execute our on-air graphics cleanly, whilst troubleshooting errors and changes in a high-pressured, rapidly changing environment. 
• Work directly with technical and production partners to satisfy production requirements for live and pre-recorded programming under the supervision of the director land operations management.  
• Operate AE Live software control systems to deliver our graphics output. 
• Understand the end-to-end workflow and each Operational role for all assigned projects across logging, data integration and graphics playout. 
• Work with, and in some cases manipulate digital assets including databases, ensuring proper file storage, version control, and data backup procedures are followed. 
• Report updates and project feedback to the Graphics Supervisor and Operations department and ensure correct processes are followed using AE Live internal reporting systems. 
• Potential travel beyond our studio facilities to sporting events and client offices around the US and abroad. 
• The eagerness to learn. 
• Work a varied schedule which includes unsociable hours and weekends. 

Qualifications & Experience. 

• Excellent understanding of sports such Football, Hockey and Soccer etc. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Strong command of the English language, written and verbal, bonus if you are fluent in Spanish. 
• Knowledge of broadcast production environments and workflows is an advantage. 
• Desired experience of working with TV graphics render systems eg. Vizrt, Chryon Prime, Ross Xpression etc. 
• Strong command of the English language, written and verbal, bonus if you are fluent in Spanish. 
• Organised, punctual and have an exceptional level of concentration. 
• Computer skills and some basic IT knowledge. 
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and perhaps unsociable hours. 
• The legal right to live and work in the United States.

In accordance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, location, skill set, experience and/or performance. Pay range: $300-700 per day.
