Become an integral part of a dynamic sales team representing i-Health, driving the success of two leading consumer health brands - Culturelle® and AZO® - within long-term care (LTC) and acute care hospitals connected to prominent Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). As a Hospital Sales Specialist, you'll play a key role in achieving our sales goals and fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers.
Territory: Charlotte Metro Area, Winston Salem and Greensboro.
Job Description:
As a Hospital Sales Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Sales Achievement: Attain territory sales goals by promoting Culturelle and AZO to healthcare providers, administrators, and key decision-makers within LTC and acute care hospitals.
- Customer Education: Deliver comprehensive education on the clinical use, benefits, and latest developments related to Culturelle and AZO.
- Field Representation: Represent i-Health professionally in the field, ensuring high visibility and customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Building: Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
- Targeted Promotion: Promote and educate hospital-based physicians and healthcare professionals through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and other approved methods.
- Scientific Discussions: Manage scientific discussions with pharmacy department heads.
- Field Work: Spend five days a week in the field, supported by office time for call planning, customer follow-up, presentations, appointments, and report generation.
- Productivity and Compliance: Meet call plan expectations, achieve sales goals, and adhere to ethical sales practices and compliance guidelines.
- Business Plan Execution: Implement territory and regional business plan activities and support targeted customers using approved resources and promotional programs.
- Reporting: Accurately report sales activities in Salesforce CRM and meet deadlines set by i-Health or the Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: BA/BS degree.
- Experience: Prior experience in LTC, acute care hospital, and/or IDN sales is strongly preferred. Experience in nutrition or probiotics is valued.
- Skills: Strong performance management skills, ability to close performance gaps, high clinical and business acumen, and demonstrated learning agility.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Prior Salesforce CRM experience is preferred.
