Merchandise Coordinator

Position Summary: The Merchandising Support Associate is an entry-level position that would support the billback flow and processes within the Merchandising organization. This includes supporting vendor activities as they relate to billbacks and vendor profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes ongoing vendor billbacks for promotional discounts for all Phillips’ entities, which includes running queries, consolidating multiple Excel reports, maintaining back up, and invoicing.
- Calculates proper bill back amounts based on promotional splits Phillips & vendors have agreed upon.
- Ensures that all billable transactions are captured and analyzed before sending to vendors.
- Processes vendor payments for weekly billbacks.
- Gathers, maintains, manages, and modifies reports, as necessary or requested, to provide analytical support to the Merchandising team.
- Serves as the primary contact to vendors regarding all bill back payments and related questions.
- Analyzes the bill back trend for vendors.
- Provides promotional tracking numbers to Marketing and Brand Management for the sell sheets and promotions to track data.
- Works with various departments such as General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Customer Care, Pricing, and Purchasing Departments on all aspects pertaining to billbacks.
- Displays professionalism, demonstrates strong communication & interpersonal skills, and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
- Serves as a liaison internally and externally to facilitate the resolution of day-to-day brand inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2-4 years’ professional office experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficient with Word and Outlook.
- Excellent keyboarding skills are required.
- It requires strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with confidential documents.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines.
- AS400 experience desired.
