Summary:

Working in a large enterprise, multi- hospital clinical environment, this person is responsible for traveling to healthcare facilities in eastern MA to integrate clinical devices with EHR systems. This requires providing ongoing support, troubleshooting and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the medical device (Masimo) interface.


This role requires collaboration between internal teams including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical engineering and IT Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners. Participate in integration projects, update processes and procedures, assist and provide support for system upgrades and device testing. This position may be assigned to work on special projects, and other job duties, as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Integrating clinical devices within EHR systems.
  • Providing support troubleshooting and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the Masimo interface.
  • Collaborating between internal teams including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical engineering and Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
  • Experience as Team Lead on integration projects, adhering to IT System Lifecycle methodology, producing functional and /or technical specifications as well as conducting meetings
  • Completing system upgrades and coordinating volume testing, leading and adhering to corporate IT system change management processes
  • Working with the user community to develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology
  • Act as the Lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle.
  • Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high quality support during the implementation of new devices.
  • Provides Clinical device related guidance to other team members.
  • Maintains/Writes documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR.
  • Provide updates on status and progress of support tasks and projects.
