A Fortune 100 E-commerce Enterprise is currently seeking a talented Brand Copywriter to join its dynamic marketing team in Seattle. In this role, the Brand Copywriter will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the brand voice and identity of the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling and engaging copy across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and more.


Contract Duration: 12 weeks

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid)

Pay Rate: $30-40/hour


Responsibilities:

  • Crafts clear, concise, and compelling copy that reflects the brand's voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Collaborates with creative teams to develop innovative concepts and messaging strategies for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Writes and edits copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including website content, email campaigns, social media posts, product descriptions, advertising copy, and more.
  • Ensures all copy adheres to brand guidelines, style standards, and messaging consistency across all channels.
  • Conducts research to stay informed about industry trends, market insights, and competitor analysis to inform copywriting strategies.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product management, and legal, to ensure alignment and accuracy of messaging.
  • Proofreads and edits copy for grammar, punctuation, and clarity, ensuring accuracy and quality of final deliverables.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a brand copywriter or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced corporate or e-commerce environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, tone of voice, and messaging strategy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Docs, and project management tools.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and keyword optimization techniques is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
