Strength And Conditioning Coach

Role Description:

This is a Part-time on-site role for a Strength And Conditioning Coach with an opportunity to make Full-time if its a good fit. You will be responsible for coaching and instructing clients in strength and conditioning techniques, assessing clients' abilities and creating customized training plans, as well as promoting our programs and services to clients and the community. This role is located in Pasco, WA.

Job Summary:

• Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
• Starting and finishing workouts on time
• Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
• Building and maintaining relationships with each RSP member
• Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
• Delivering accurate/research backed and industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
• Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
• Nationally Accredited Strength Coach Certification (CSCS Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics
• 1+ years previous experience coaching groups and private personal training with a variety of clients, including those with limited mobility or disabilities
• Excellent communication and motivational skills, with the a strong knowledge to create effective programming for various sports and seasons
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• A passion for sport performance, health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

Work Environment  

Must be able to work within various degrees of noise and temperature. Work surfaces will vary from concrete to grass to hardwood floors. Job responsibilities require both inside and outside assignments. Interruptions of work are routine. Flexibility and patience are required. Must be self‐ motivated and able to complete job assignments without direct supervision. Evening and weekend work will be expected. Must be able to work under stressful conditions
