Optomi, in partnership with one of the leading aviation services company in the world, is seeking a Business Analyst to work hybrid in West Palm Beach, Fl under a short term contract. This Business Analyst will be supporting recall aircraft management. The right candidate will have 3+ years of IT Business Analyst experience, writing business requirements and documenting processes. This Business Analyst should have experience with UAT testing as well as familiarity with Project Management tools.

Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years working as an IT Business Analysis.
- Experience writing business requirements and documenting business processes.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP) or Project Management (e.g. PMP).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
- Document and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement process maps, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a lead for planning and coordinating testing activities, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work with stakeholders to define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor testing progress, identify defects or issues, and ensure timely resolution to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Regularly review and refine backlog items based on changing priorities, resource availability, and business needs.
- Analyze project data, performance metrics, and KPIs to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Support change management processes, ensuring smooth project transitions and stakeholder engagement.
- Create detailed project documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and business users to ensure clarity and alignment.
