It is also one of the global independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics and in the support of clinical studies, as well as in BioPharma Contract Development and Manufacturing. They are searching for a Lab Analyst to join their team
Location: Arvada, CO
Pay: $25-$27/hr
The main function of a metals prep analyst is to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques according to scientific and environmental protection methodology in compliance with quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices and programs
- Prepares samples using standard techniques
- Performs chemical analysis using standard techniques
- Calculates data
- Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
- Performs routine instrument maintenance
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
- Advanced ability to train and become competent on complex instrumentation
- Advanced ability to work independently following written or verbal instructions
- Follow and learn appropriate protocols in one or more of the following disciplines-Organic preparation-Metals preparation and analysis-Gas chromatography-Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-Radio chemistry-Wet chemistry-High resolution preparation and analysis-Low resolution preparation and analysis
Education/Experience:
- BS or BA in chemistry or related field.
- 5-7 years experience required.
