A growing consumer products company is seeking a remote IT Audit professional for a great opportunity with its growing team.

Responsibilities:

The IT Audit professional is responsible for:

  • Maintain the integrity of accounting information by verifying and analyzing financial data.
  • Support the preparation of analyses, estimates, and journal entries for month-end closing activities.
  • Review trial balance details to ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts for posted transactions and address any discrepancies.
  • Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, accruals, fixed assets, and other accounts, ensuring that accruals are accurately recorded for month-end close and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting cost and inventory variances, collaborating with relevant department members to achieve understanding and resolution, including cost of goods sold/inventory transactions, purchase price variances, and manufacturing variances.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT compliance, auditing, or similar areas.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC)..
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification, with experience in ITIL v4 for process design and improvement.
  • Deep knowledge of IT compliance, audit practices, and risk management.
  • Skilled in IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptable in a dynamic, global environment with a talent for influencing change across diverse teams.
