Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapy License in NY (active occupational therapist)
  • Compassionate and comfortable working with seniors and/or children
  • New grad occupational therapists are welcome We offer a VERY strong and structured mentorship program - make sure to inquire about this


Additional Information:

  • We work with Medicare - eligible patients.
  • We also work in pediatrics via OPWDD program
  • Occupational Therapist can choose to accept patients on a case-by-case basis.

Expectations:

  • Occupational therapist should be able to travel between the homes of patients in your chosen area
  • Provide a level of care that you would want to your loved ones to receive
  • Timely submission of documentation using our chosen EMR, WebPT
  • Good communication between the front desk and therapists is very important. We use text/email for most communication
  • Eagerness to progress your patients to their highest potential level and help us debunk the myth that homecare therapy is poor and lacks skill :)
