CC products are primarily sold into the Civil Infrastructure, Irrigation, Oil & Gas and Mining sectors where the material is used for a wide range of erosion control and containment applications such as channel lining, slope protection, berm lining, weed suppression and concrete remediation. In 2021, the company launched Concrete Canvas USA in Texas, lead by General Manager, Melanie Fuhrman along with dedicated sales and technical teams. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Inside Sales and Logistics Coordinator to support our outside sales staff and manage freight logistics efficiently.


Job Overview:

The Inside Sales and Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by handling inbound inquiries, cold calling prospective clients, providing quotes, and following up on leads to drive sales growth. Additionally, this role will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight logistics, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and optimizing transportation costs. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist outside sales staff by responding to inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, and cold calling prospective clients to generate sales opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and deliver accurate quotes in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships, address any questions or concerns, and close sales.
  • Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and coordinate order fulfillment.
  • Manage logistics for incoming and outbound freight, including scheduling pickups, arranging transportation, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Negotiate rates with freight carriers and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs while maintaining service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and freight transactions in CRM systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to orders, shipments, or deliveries.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Assist with other sales and administrative tasks as needed to support the overall success of the sales team and company.
  • From time to time, accompany managers on local field installations and tradeshows to gain knowledge of product use and generate leads.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience of inside sales, customer service, or logistics coordination within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers over the phone, email, and in-person.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM/Salesforce software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing sales and logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, freight documentation, and supply chain logistics preferred.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Houston based company will require both in person and remote work. Must live in the Houston area or be willing to commute. Minimum overnight travel may be required.
