CG Financial Services is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Relationship Manager to join our Wealth Management division in Williamston, MI. As the Relationship Manager, you will be an integral team contributor serving our clients in the Wealth Management Division. Utilize your stellar communication skills in this client-facing role to build and maintain relationships with assigned clients in multiple states across the USA. To be successful, you will need to have a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for streamlining processes to work efficiently.


This is an in-office position located in Williamston, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and participate in client meetings with Financial Advisors
  • Manage and execute client requests and inquiries effectively, ensuring timely resolution or delegation
  • Oversee and direct the planning of client meetings with thorough preparation and coordination
  • Facilitate internal meetings to strategize and review client interactions, enhancing overall service delivery
  • Document client interactions meticulously, leading the team in maintaining organized records for seamless follow-up
  • Deliver diverse business reports to Senior Advisors and Managing Financial Advisors as needed, engaging in discussions to align strategies with business goals
  • Actively engage in implementing and supporting change initiatives and new business practices, contributing to the evolution and growth of the organization
  • Contribute to company-wide, team, and divisional projects, leveraging expertise and support to drive success


Experience Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of client-facing experience in financial services with a variety of financial products and services
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated with a desire to learn
  • Collaborative, organized, analytical and ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Familiar with wealth management and financial planning casework
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, financial planning or related field
  • Financial services industry designations
  • Experience with Salesforce, Orion, and custodial platforms such as LPL and Axos
  • Experience with financial planning software and technology
  • Project management experience
  • Series 7 and 66 or Series 65 licenses
