Summary:

The Event Manager has 3-5 years of event management/operations experience overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of client programs and events. This role ensures exceptional client experiences through detailed logistics management, vendor coordination, and on-site leadership. As a vital liaison between clients and internal teams, the Program Manager ensures all aspects of events align with brand standards, budgets, and client expectations. Destination Management experience preferred

As the first and currently only ADMEI accredited firm in North Texas, they are one of the most successful corporate event & destination management companies in the Dallas area. In fact, they have been named multiple times as Texas’ Best Meeting & Event Planning Company and have won more industry awards than any other company in Texas. They have also been named a “Best Place to Work” over the years by the Dallas Business Journal

They organize airport transportation, themed events, team-building, dinners, special events, and tours for their clients when they bring groups (customers, vendors, and employees) to town for meetings and conventions. They are growing at 15 to 30% per year and expect to double our business in the next 4 years.


Primary areas of focus include:


Program Operations

  • Must be able to multi-task to meet pre-determined program deadlines
  • Ability to manage work time and processes while delivering the highest customer satisfaction on programs (maintaining company average of 4.8+ out of 5 ratings) is essential to success in this role

Ability to Work Effectively with the Team

  • Transparent and effective communication with the team at all times is a must for this position.
  • Demonstrate consistent and open collaboration with team members – attend brainstorming sessions and proposal review meetings prepared with ideas/thoughts/solutions.
  • Teamwork, including proactively jumping in to assist others when needed, is a core company value that is fundamental to our success.

Budgeting/Pricing

  • Must be a fast learner and then, once trained, capable of creating budget calculations using vendor costs, applying applicable taxes, gratuity and profit margin through our industry specific software system

Work Style

  • Commitment to excellence (another company core value) requires high functioning, high efficiency, and being mega detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to multi-task (managing competing priorities) and shift priorities quickly as required to meet deadlines on multiple programs and pop-up client requests/needs
  • Possess the initiative to proactively research to find product and service solutions for unique event requests.
  • Must be comfortable speaking with clients to collect discovery information necessary to prepare “on target” proposals and while carrying out the operations process

Job Development

  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow with the intent of eventually handling the entire sales process of a program from client inquiry through contracting with limited hands-on support from the team

This role will be physically based in our office in Addison and cannot be a remote position. Seeking a candidate currently in the DFW metro area, or willing to relocate at their own expense to Dallas.
