We have an exciting opportunity to join our premier Estate Planning, Trust/Probate Administration and Long Term Care Planning (Elder Law) Firm. The successful candidate will support the Estate Planning and Medi-Cal practice. This position demands a responsible and organized professional to support the Attorneys and liaison with the clients. We are extremely service oriented and pride ourselves on helping our multigenerational clients. This position is demanding and fast-paced, yet extremely rewarding.
The ideal candidate must be driven to serve, have extreme attention to detail, and substantive knowledge of Estate Planning, Trust/Probate and/or Medi-Cal benefits. Excellent time management and computer skills are required to excel in this position. Experience in Time Matters or other practice/business management software a plus.
This is a full time position and requires 2 or more years of experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts and Estates Administration. Experience with real property transfers (title companies, loan officers, etc.), financial planning, tax and/or public benefits may be substituted. A college degree is desired, however a relevant combination of formal education and experience will be considered. We offer competitive benefits after successful completion of 90 day probationary period.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
• Ability to work closely with clients in a patient and compassionate manner
• Case management: Marshal matter from intake through completion. Must be detail & systems oriented, organized, ability to manage own caseload and maintain deadlines
• Review all estate planning documents (Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, etc.)
• Prepare and file court petitions and supporting documents
• Excellent oral communication, interpersonal skills, written communication skills, and time management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Gather, organize, understand and analyze asset information
• Prepare and record deeds and supporting documents, affidavits, notes/deeds of trust, etc.
• Notarize documents with clients
• Provide clerical support and other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience with Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate Procedures, or experience with real property transfers (title companies, loan officers, etc.), financial planning, tax and/or public benefits may be substituted.
• College degree desired, but relevant experience will be considered
• Ability to independently manage own caseload in a timely manner, track deadlines
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Time Matters with ability and willingness to learn technology quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills, working with clients, financial institutions, government agencies, attorneys & fellow team members.
• Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy
• Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
• High degree of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
• Neat and professional appearance
• Notary Public - Highly Desirable, will be required at earliest opportunity
