Washington, United States Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services Full time

We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Wellness and Marketing Dietitian to join our Food Service Team with Chartwells Higher Education at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC Catholic University of America is a small university of about 3,000 students and Division III athletics. This position will be 50% nutrition and wellness and 50% campus marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
  • Implements corporate wellness programming
  • Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
  • Responsible for the creation of Chartwells Higher Ed marketing collateral, such as print ads, posters, brochures (catering, retail) to be distributed within the campus community
  • Maintains Dine on Campus website content
  • Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
  • Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
  • Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
  • Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
  • Operational execution and oversight – hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
  • Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs


Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format
  • Experience working with food allergies strongly preferred
  • ServSafe® Manager certified a plus
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
