Role Description

This is a full-time on-site (Monday - Friday Days) role for a Mammography Technologist. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing mammographic procedures using radiographic equipment to assist in the diagnosis of breast diseases. They will also be responsible for ensuring patient safety, positioning patients correctly, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records.


Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
  • Proficiency in radiologic technology and radiology procedures
  • Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
  • Experience in mammography and breast imaging is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field is preferred

Experience with Hologic 3-D Tomography and Biopsy a plus
