Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Payroll Manager for our prestigious client in Austin, Texas.


We are looking for someone with recent experience using ADP - Workforce Now to process payroll for 300 employees as well as assist with general HR duties such as employee onboarding/offboarding, benefit administration, and scheduling companywide events.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll operations using ADP - Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a champion for company culture by coordinating team lunches, holiday events, and monthly happy hours, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Lead special projects aimed at enhancing the company culture, taking ownership from inception to completion to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct general HR duties including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and explaining benefits to employees, as well as managing 401k onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Act as the point person for HR audits, ensuring payroll registry and processes are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and support to employees, handling general HR inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist with light recruiting activities, collaborating with the HR Director as needed to attract top talent to the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Proven and recent experience with ADP - Workforce Now is required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, with the ability to manage payroll operations independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion company culture and organize engaging team events.
  • Experience with benefits administration, including explaining benefits to employees and managing 401k processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Previous experience in HR audits and familiarity with HRIS systems is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities.
