Stalwart Law Group, a highly respected Plaintiffs trial firm, specializing in the representation of injured victims, is seeking an experienced litigator to join our team. The Associate will be expected to independently handle all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to: drafting complaints, responding to written discovery, responding to demurrers, conducting depositions and trial work.
Our attorneys work on every facet of the case, from intake to trial. More importantly, we are all passionate about helping our clients get the best possible outcomes. We are seeking a like-minded individual who has the drive and determination to hit the ground running with quality high-value medical malpractice and elder abuse cases. This position is integral to the firm and primary duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate with the litigation team in strategizing a plan to litigate cases in a manner that serves the best interest of the clients
- Will represent clients in legal proceedings, write legal documents, and actively participate in all aspects of civil litigation including depositions, hearings, and trial.
- Review and analyze medical records and other litigation documents to create case narratives related to medical malpractice and elder abuse cases
- Writing all legal documents associated with civil litigation including pleadings, discovery documents, and trial documents
- Interacting with opposing counsel and solving problems in a manner consistent with the litigation plan
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will bring prior case handling and deposition experience, along with at least two years of litigation experience, to support our firm and our clients
- Proven work experience in Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse litigation
- Strong analytical, negotiation and drafting skills with the ability to work independently and make decisions supported with reasoned judgment
- Detail-oriented with excellent writing, communication, and case analysis abilities
