We are working with a fantastic global law firm seeking a Corporate Paralegal to work in their smaller Seattle office. The role offers a fantastic work-life balance and provides legal assistance in various corporate matters and transactions for a diverse clientele encompassing private and public companies.


Responsibilities:

General:

  • Maintain corporate records and organize documents and information.
  • Preparation of legal opinions and compilation of supporting documentation.
  • Handling corporate and securities filings along with relevant research.
  • Management of stock certificates, capitalization tables, and option records.
  • Coordinate closings and prepare associated documents.
  • Procurement and filing of documents with public agencies.
  • Adherence to additional assigned or required tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general corporate matters as a paralegal.
  • Experience working in a law firm.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with equity tracking systems

Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
