The Senior Human Resources Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department, reporting directly to the CEO. This role involves managing various HR functions including Benefits, Recruitment, EEO and Compliance, Safety, and Worker’s Comp. Additionally, the Senior HR Manager maintains and cultivates HR vendor relationships and serves as the primary point of contact for all employees, including Spanish-speaking employees.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Directs and plans group benefits programs, conducts annual open enrollment, and manages benefits-related meetings and materials.

- Coordinates daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and changes.

- Provides customer service support to employees, including translation assistance as necessary.

- Ensures EEOC compliance in recruiting, hiring, training, compensation, and termination practices.

- Manages worker’s compensation claims and leave programs such as FMLA and ADA.

- Performs other duties as directed by the CEO or other officers of the company.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with the Safety Committee to ensure safety compliance across all departments.

- Assists with drafting and monitoring job postings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.

- Supports payroll processes during peak times and maintains HRIS system accuracy.

- Generates payroll, labor, and personnel reports as needed for internal and external use.


Qualifications:

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.

- SPHR or SPHR certification preferred.

- Proficiency in federal and state regulations related to employee benefits programs.

- Experience with administering employee group benefit programs and HRIS databases.

- Strong project management and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including fluency in Spanish.

- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
