We are seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our Fortune 500 partners within the Healthcare and Life Science in Raritan, NJ working on a hybrid schedule. The Data Analyst will play a role in enhancing the integrity and functionality of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring data accuracy and consistency, which is vital for the operational effectiveness of our IT services.


Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and engage with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to connect and collaborate across various business units.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated capacity to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow
  • Preferred experience with ITIL
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data quality cleanup tasks within the CMDB to ensure accuracy and reliability of the information.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to address and follow up on outstanding CMDB tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB entries and data discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on how to execute updates and maintain data standards within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to CMDB processes and data management protocols.
  • Participate in regular audits of the CMDB to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in the development of reports and dashboards for stakeholders to monitor CMDB health and activity.
