Ednovate Background
Ednovate is a network of public, tuition-free, high-performing college prep high schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. We serve first-generation college-bound students from traditionally underserved communities. Our students have a 99% college acceptance rate, but what matters even more is that we’re graduating self-aware, engaged young adults who are headed toward a life of purpose and impact.
Our team is made up of world travelers, nacho connoisseurs, KPOP business owners, and Taylor Swift fans. We love LA and OC, and we're our students' biggest cheerleaders. What You'll Do
- Drive for Equity: Ensure all students across all identity groups have access to a high quality, personalized college prep experience.
- Be A Nerd: Get ready for the deepest content dive of your career Our teachers develop and adopt a cutting edge digital curriculum, powered by the Common Core Standards and NGSS Standards.
- Prepare Students to Win: You'll be a maestro of student learning, empowering scholars to reach their full academic and personal potential during their four years with us.
- Build a Family: Through advisory, you'll mentor the same group of students for their four years of high school, get to know their families, and cry when they all graduate. Get the tissue box ready.
- A Lifelong Learner: Professional development is our love language. We are committed to improving academic outcomes for all students through innovative training at a network level.

- 2+ years of teaching experience with a strong record of improving student learning
- A BA or BS Degree
- A California Single Subject Teaching Credential (Preferred) or either an Out of State Teaching Credential or a clear path to receiving a teaching credential within a year.
- A growth mindset and an ability to remain adaptable to change
- Strong teamwork and positive communication skills
- Belief that all Ednovate students will succeed in college and make a Positive Multigenerational Change
- Our salary range for teachers starts at $63,250 and is commensurate with experience.

- 403b retirement savings plan, with company matching up to 3%

Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is exempt, in-person, and will follow an 11-month schedule.
While a California Single Subject Teaching Credential is preferred, we are committed to supporting high-quality candidates in pursuing full credentialing
