Genius Talent is collaborating with a leading construction company to seek an adept Plumbing Foreman with 6-8 years of experience. This pivotal role is based in Goldsboro, NC, with services extending to neighboring counties.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Oversee the digging, installation, testing, and backfilling of underground sanitary and grease piping
  • Lead the rough-in of new drain waste and vent (DWV) and domestic water piping
  • Manage the installation of roof drains and storm drainage piping
  • Supervise the threading, installation, and testing of building gas piping
  • Direct the brazing, installation, and servicing of medical gas piping
  • Coordinate the installation of various plumbing fixtures, including water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, and drinking fountains
  • Oversee the installation of plumbing equipment such as water heaters, boilers, storage tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, tankless water heaters, sump pumps, and water filtration systems
  • Provide guidance and assistance with additional tasks like brazing, threading pipe, grooving, soldering, and welding
  • Interpret construction and coordination drawings using Procore and other construction software on tablets
  • Manage team activities while working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Enforce all safety precautions on the job site
  • Mentor and train less experienced crew members
  • Report directly to the Project Manager and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures


Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in plumbing construction
  • Proficient in performing physical tasks and lifting items up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrated punctuality and consistent attendance for scheduled workdays and times
  • Experience with Hilti-Trimbel Total Station Layout is highly desirable
  • Possession of OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications is advantageous
  • All necessary equipment, hand tools, and power tools will be provided
