Our client is looking for a UX Product Designer to conceptualize and enhance features, employing user experience research, competitive analysis, workflow, interaction, and visual design skills to achieve a simple, highly usable experience. The ideal candidate understands the overlap of these design areas well and embraces a user-centered design process. This individual must have a love for clean visual design, recognize strong UX, and value collaboration and problem solving. This hire would remain at the forefront of new digital trends and UX best practices to help optimize the client experience, increase product adoption, and scale growth.

This position is a contract role with an anticipated 6-month duration. This contractor will be specifically assisting their Distributed Ledger Technology team focusing on blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

  • E-sign new product features and enhancements for client's flagship platform and white label solutions.
  • Create solutions from wireframes to pixel-perfect designs and prototypes leveragingour client's Design system.
  • Rely on qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions.
  • Provide clearly defined specs and interaction guidelines to the Development team.
  • Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to test and review online product enhancements to ensure flawless execution.
  • Contribute to maintenance of the Design system and Figma library.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and product areas.
  • Step outside the design realm when appropriate to contribute to the team and overall company mission.
  • Plan, coordinate, and moderate user research activities throughout all phases of design.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BFA) with 6+ years of demonstrated experience solving design challenges using user-centered design best practices
  • Strong UX skills, including user research and information architecture, and workflow design
  • Solid understanding of major design applications specifically Figma
  • History of teamwork and a willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Experience in FinTech and familiar with product internationalization and WCAG accessibility guidelines are preferred
  • Experience working with FullStory, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Dovetail, and Maze is a plus
