Position Summary:

  • Under the direction of the radiologist, perform all computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist the medical staff in the detection of abnormalities.
  • Performs duties and functions as a radiology technologist as assigned.
  • This position requires providing care/service to a critically or sub-acutely ill pediatric or geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
  • This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola Regional Medical Center.


Qualifications

  • One year of CT experience preferred.
  • Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience for Osceola. However, for the FSED opportunities, they need to have acute care experience. *For the FSED ROLES, Candidates MUST HAVE at least 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate of an approved School of Radiology.
  • State of Florida HRS General Radiography license.
  • Current BCLS-C certification.
  • ARRT certification (R and CT) required at submission.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Additional Information:

The preference is to already have their CT cert, but if it's a strong candidate with significant experience, they would consider a candidate who does not have it yet. HOWEVER FOR THE FSED ROLES, THEY NEED TO HAVE IT IN HAND
