Through VDB Search, the client AmbaFlex, the world market leader in spiral conveyor solutions, is looking for a Sales Support Manager Americas based in Canton, OH. The company operates from their Sales offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Dallas and have their production facilities in The Netherlands, Romania, China, and the US (Canton OH). Their SpiralVeyors are found in the production lines of all main food and beverage producers and in the logistic processes of the well-known e-commerce companies

In this role, as the Sales Support Manager you are part of the Regional Sales Team of 20, of which half is assigned to sales support. In this role you will serve as the primary internal interface for all commercial activities between AmbaFlex and its assigned customers, prospects, and business partners. This position will be responsible for optimizing existing processes and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operational sales activities. Acting as a key connector, this position will collaborate across various departments within AmbaFlex, contributing to the company's growth and development as a trusted business partner. The Sales Support Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager Americas.


Key tasks

Team performance.

- Write and implement the Sales Support Plan based on the company's global sales strategy & plan.

- Coach and guide all AMCAS Sales Support Team members to ensure that assigned sales activities will be executed effectively and efficient.

- Manage, Coach & Develop the Sales Support Team to enable them to increase; revenue, profitability, and loyalty with the AmbaFlex customer & prospect base.

- Identify needs for training.

- Conduct performance reviews in line with the performance cycle.

Processes

- Manage the technical content of quotes and orders in such a way that these apply to the AmbaFlex info carriers.

- Monitor Sales Support business processes and improve where required upon consultation from the Sales Support Teams abroad.

- Reduce customer complaints by working closely together with Manager Order management, Customer Service manager and R&D manager and implement, if necessary, improvements.


Development AmbaFlex:

- Maintain good relationships with other stakeholders within the organization.

- Act as an interactor with departments which will be part of the business process, in order to ensure quality of in- and output of the Sales Support team.


Revenue:

- Support AMCAS Sales Support team members by realizing targets for relationship management with the customers.

- Monitor and improve quality of support from Sales Support Team to Sales team.


Responsibilities:

• Represent the Sales Support Department.

• Apply and execute the AmbaFlex Sales Strategy and achieve related objectives.

• Run the Sales Support Team as effective and efficient possible against the allowed cost structure.

• Provide quality information on time in line with the agreed processes.

• Give quality support on time to the Regional Sales Manager and Areas Sales Managers.

• Work/use and communicate according the agreed processes, guidelines and systems internally and externally.

• Have a close business relationship with AmbaFlex colleagues to enable you to supply the best solutions to the market on time.

• Ensure that in case of personal issues within the Sales Support Team (illness, issues between individuals, etc.) everything will be done (within legal and AmbaFlex guidelines) to ‘solve’ these situations.


Authorities:

• Make agreements with the other Department Managers.

• Escalate business issues or topics which are not within the responsibilities of the Sales Support Manager to the Regional Sales Manager.

• Plan and organize meetings required to achieve personal & team objectives.

• Have access to relevant business systems, information and data.


Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of work experience in similar execution or commercial role.

• Familiar with Sales Management, commercial knowledge and experience.

• Solid selling skills and commercial attitude.

• Experience with systems & tools (CRM, all calculation tools, Personal Sales Support Plan).

• A Self- starter, consistent and persuasive in executing activities.

• A proactive communicator and problem solver.

• Solid Management skills, coaching the team.

• Must be self-motivated, highly organized detailed and stress resistant.

• A team player who is social and a good communicator.

• Strong communicator on management level.

• Have a Helicopter view.
