Located in the Midlands of South Carolina near the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, the Heritage at Lowman is a growing, robust community of active senior adults.


We are currently recruiting for an Executive Director join our team


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Executive Director is responsible for directing, controlling, managing, and effectively assuring that systems are in place to provide for the successful operation of their community or program, to include achieving budgeted census levels, planning and achieving budgeted operational goals, assuring customer satisfaction, promotion of LHSC mission and values, and implementation of company policies, procedures and programs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day operations of The Heritage at Lowman
  • Provides leadership in development and completion of the organization’s Strategic Plan and annual operating plans
  • Develops annual operating budget and implements strategies and programs to control costs, improve operations and ensure fiscal accountability in all departments
  • Applies sound fiscal management skills to development, manage and adherence to the budget
  • Provides excellent customer service to residents, families and employees
  • Meets regularly with individual residents or groups of residents to maintain awareness of issues or concerns and seeks to resolve issues in a timely and positive manner.
  • Ensures resident/patient/client and family satisfaction survey is conducted annually; responds quickly and appropriately to issues noted in survey results
  • Translates the corporate vision into workable, realistic action plans
  • Enable and encourage managers and staff to accomplish their respective roles within the organization through appropriate use of leadership skills and traits
  • Promotes, leads, manages and conveys the LHSC mission and values statement


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of expertise or at least 5 years experience relevant to the position (i.e. long term care experience, hospice, or retirement housing management experience) with at least two years in a supervisory capacity
  • Experienced in managing simultaneous priorities, leading a multi-disciplinary team and providing excellent customer service
  • Possess a South Carolina Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrator License
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • The ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, business partners, and the general public
  • Knowledgeable about Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement programming
  • Knowledgeable about CMS quality measures for skilled nursing facilities
  • Detailed oriented and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
