JOB DESCRIPTION
A client in the Sharonville, OH area is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. This Programmer will be in office.
Responsibilities:
• Review drawings, routing instructions, part specifications and ERP information to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Navigate PLM system (Bluestar) to reference drawings and solid models.
• Provide strategies for various machining operations and proper tooling to ensure quality and schedule requirements with cost effective product delivery.
• Generate CNC turning and 3, 4 & 5 axis milling programs using Gibbs Cam software.
• Provide direction and guidance for setup procedures, program file transfer, tooling information and machining of components for machinists.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors and machinists to resolve issues relating to the manufacturing process and component quality.
• Act as liaison between industrial engineering and the manufacturing floor.
• Use effectively and assist in the further development of ARGUS (an internal software) to support Family of Parts programming and the full program library.
• Support quality department in identifying and resolving non-conformance issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of machinist experience
- 3+ years of any CAD Cam software experience
- 3+ years of programming experience, turning specifically
