Lead Data Product Manager

The Select Group is currently seeking a qualified and influential Technical Product Data Manager to join our esteemed Telecom client. The ideal candidate will have experience in Wifi or IoT products, complemented by excellent data analysis skills. They will play a pivotal role in supporting a team that provides insights into product performance and customer experiences. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, a solution-oriented mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and effective communication skills, especially with high-level executives.


Lead Data Product Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience in Transformational Leadership, driving impactful changes across the organization and effectively communicating with teams.

• Proven experience in Product Management, with a track record of developing and enhancing products to meet customer needs, align with business objectives, and remain competitive in the market.

• Hands-on expertise in data analysis/ data science including the ability to aggregate and model product data, particularly in the realm of WiFi or IoT performance.

• Strong storytelling skills, adept at creating compelling narratives, delivering impactful presentations, and implementing effective solutions.

• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3), data visualization platforms like Tableau/Power BI, data warehousing tools like Snowflake, and the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint).

• Previous experience in the telecommunications or cable industry, specifically in supporting WiFi or IoT products. (Familiarity with products utilizing WiFi transmission over bandwidth)


Lead Data Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Discovering data irregularities, organizing data effectively, and crafting algorithms to pinpoint areas of improvement in customer experiences.
  • Transforming WiFi data into actionable insights centered around customer satisfaction.
  • Extracting and examining data from diverse sources using preferred analytical tools.
  • Partnering closely with product managers and engineers to tackle customer experience challenges head-on.
  • Pioneering geographically targeted quality dashboards to monitor customer satisfaction across products and networks.
  • Dagnosing issues, devising innovative solutions, and delivering compelling presentations of findings.
