MAU is hiring a Winding Technician at our client in Mansfield, GA. As a Winding Technician, you will set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures (changeovers). This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

  • 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Mechanical and electrical work experience

General Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills, define a situation and be decisive in solving it
  • Ability to work with and lead others as necessary
  • Basic computer skills

Essential Functions:

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
  • Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures (changeovers)
  • Ensure that all standard operating procedures are being followed
  • Troubleshoot problems and correct issue with equipment, devices, or products
  • Perform various production and quality control duties as requested
  • Initiative, participate, and maintain 6S standards and lean manufacturing concepts
  • Actively taking part in our continuous improvement program
  • Understand and demonstrate a commitment to the Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2015 responsibilities
  • Willingness to perform special duties as assigned by management
  • Patrol jobs throughout the shift
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
