Role: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Hodges, SC


Description:

Engineering guarding solution around our large shaker and interlock door access and camera’s, identify a Jib solution and magnet to remove iron from the top of the shaker.

Engineering solution to guard access to the mold/weight handling at our small line and develop a solution to use a manipulator to grab weights.

Engineering design solution to interlock hydraulic power unit at our melting operation on large melt

Support the work contracted to a PE to get a second bridge crane installed in the melting area of the plant.

Additional supporting safety projects in melting and pouring support risk assessment by plant leadership.
