MWD Engineer

Role: MWD Engineer (EM Experience Required)

Position Description:

• Must have EM experience shown on Resume.
• Provides on-site supervision of the Measurement While Drilling (MWD) process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and delivery of the services to the customer.
• Ensures that all data presented to the customer is accurate, and timely.
• Properly tests all tools and equipment before, during and after each job.
• Identifies and corrects operational problems to prevent or minimize service impact. Accurately completes all required forms, databases and reports.
• Ensures BHA's are assembled as planned, including correct make-up torque, and handling.
• Interfaces with the Directional Driller (DD) to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct tool face references are applied.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience as a MWD Engineer.
• 2+ years experience EM Required
• Thorough knowledge of MWD tools/equipment and repair.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Position Details:

Location: North West, New Mexico

Hitch: 14/7 Housing Provided

Pay Rate: $30-$38 per hour
