  • Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
  • Possesses strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
  • Demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in litigation
  • Produces quality legal work and bills the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services
  • Manages business and assists in the generation of business through group and individual efforts
  • Complies with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession

Required Education: Juris Doctor

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Missouri; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements.

Required Experience: 2 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or clerkship.

Preferred Experience: 2-4 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction.

Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer.

Travel Required: Generally, less than 10%, however, this will be case specific and may, at times, involve more travel.
