Director of Engineering


Join a well-established and fast-growing organization in Torrance, developing advanced high-speed communications devices used in various industries from entertainment to medical devices.


They are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to direct and lead multi-disciplined engineering teams (EE, Software, Systems, etc.) through the design and development of current and future generation products.


This will include functional management, technical leadership, promoting company culture, and being a key decision-maker in project execution.


Required Experience

  • Previous experience in managing engineering design teams
  • Strong background in both engineering and program management.
  • Understanding of hardware and embedded systems processes
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar


Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience in medical, communications, video, or audio devices
  • Knowledge of Safety standards ISO 13485 and IEC 60601


The base salary range is up to $250k depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
