Seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with a strong background in financial services compliance, software architecture, integration, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure that all software solutions comply with financial services regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX).
  • Implement security best practices and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive financial information.
  • Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software architectures that meet business needs and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
  • Integration Solutions:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions to connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Implement and manage APIs, data transformation processes, and messaging protocols to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Apply best practices for integration patterns, such as ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data synchronization.
  • Cloud Technologies:
  • Design and deploy cloud-based solutions, with a strong preference for experience with Azure, but open to other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Ensure cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Code Development and Reviews:
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java (preferred) or C#, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architecture designs, integration processes, and cloud deployments.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java (preferred) or C#. Proven experience in software architecture and integration, with heavy hands-on experience required.
  • Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Azure. Open to experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud services.
  • Financial Services Compliance: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the financial services industry (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java or C#, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Spring or .NET Core.
  • Extensive experience with integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Architecture Knowledge: Experience in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and familiarity with architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
