Responsibilities:

  • Write and lead sections on technical, management, staffing/resumes, and past performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop work approaches, experiences, win themes, and differentiators.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to draft and refine RFP-compliant content.
  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content based on project requirements.
  • Interview SMEs to develop relevant proposal sections.
  • Highlight win themes in proposals to maximize scoring impact.
  • Review storyboards and proposal sections to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Review and edit proposal deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Business Development team.

Education:

  • College degree in a writing-related discipline (education can be substituted with relevant work experience).

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting proposals for federal government service contracts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on writing experience for federal government service contract proposals.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in information presentation.
  • Ability to understand and articulate company capabilities effectively in proposals.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple proposals with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in reviewing, editing, and authoring compelling and persuasive proposals within tight deadlines and limited page counts.
  • Familiarity with Information Technology and Training services for the federal government.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
