Bionic Prosthetics & Orthotics Group LLC is a nationally leading fully accredited Orthotic and Prosthetic facility with over 47 clinics across the United States. We provide orthotic and prosthetic services and products for neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders, scoliosis and other pediatric pathologies, and functional electrical stimulation (FES) technology for foot and wrist drop. Our state-of-the-art prosthetic central fabrication facility enables us to create customized prostheses with faster turnaround time. We support patients in obtaining insurance approvals and identify alternate funding as needed.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Orthotist and/or Prosthetist. The Certified Orthotist and/or Prosthetist will be responsible for assessing, measuring, casting, designing, fabricating, fitting, aligning, and evaluating orthotic and/or prosthetic devices for patients. The role requires working closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and physicians, to ensure suitable treatment plans.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in orthotics and/or prosthetics
  • Understanding of orthopedic surgery and medicine
  • Ability to conduct gait analysis to evaluate patients' needs
  • Experience in creating both functional and cosmetic prosthetic devices
  • Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) or the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in orthotics and prosthetics, biomedical engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CAD software and 3D printing would be beneficial
