The Production Supervisor coordinates work on the Manufacturing floor, supervising and working collaboratively with the Manufacturing Lead(s) and all related cross-functional partners to accomplish production in a safe and efficient manner. The PS facilitates the plant to safely manufacture and ship good quality products on time according to ECM procedures. The PS is responsible for the achievement of daily production objectives including, but not limited to safety, product quality, process compliance, team performance, timely shipments, and housekeeping. The PS develops and analyzes KPI and data trends to create improvement and motivational strategies to improve safety, employee engagement, production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety on production floor
  • Coach and Supervise Employees
  • Monitor Product Quality
  • Monitor Production Performance
  • Communicate Skillfully and Consistently
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years supervisory / lead experience with at least 5 of those years in manufacturing supervision
  • Substantial knowledge of various plant operations, visual management, and LEAN operations
  • Proficiency in operating in an ISO process-controlled environment
  • ERP/ MRP experience
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Act independently
  • Strong communication skills
