Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supply of finished and components goods sourced from multiple domestic and/or international manufacturing 3PM plants, vendors and/or subcontractors within the parameters of MOQ, MPQ, lead times, etc among our warehouses in both the US and UK.
  • Manage and coordinate the supply and production of promotional finished goods (gift with purchase, promotional packs, giftpacks, multi-packs, everyday items etc.) with an outsourced co-manufacturing partner
  • Establish the required timelines for all BOM components in order to meet customer ship-to-trade (STT) dates in partnership and collaboration with procurement, marketing, supply and demand planning.
  • Project manage the details required to produce, assemble, and deliver the promotional goods from the co-manufacturing location to our distribution center (customer ready)
  • Issue purchase orders as required, reconcile inventory consumption, and ensure inventory integrity and data accuracy.
  • Focus on service levels, costs and inventory in alignment with corporate objectives to drive sales and profits.
  • Take ownership of the product portfolio including excess and obsolete inventory, cycle stock, safety stock, out of stock and portfolio performance.
  • Communicating out of stocks and low inventory risks.
  • Expertly balance out supply with demand to ensure efficiency in inventory investment.
  • Mitigate and find solutions to supply issues that arise for various reasons including overselling and production concerns or delays.
  • Support the launch and re-launch of new products to meet ship dates while avoiding out of stocks.
  • Support and coordinate the supply of finished goods used for promotional programs.
  • Establish strong relationships with peers and work cross-functionally with demand planning, new products team, master data team, customer service, and marketing counterparts.
  • Participate in weekly and/or monthly meetings as needed to support the product portfolio.
  • Demonstrate willingness, desire, and tenacity to become an expert in SAP, Business Intelligence, and other corporate tools to improve overall performance.
  • Accurately maintain all master data related to optimal supply planning performance.Support new process improvement initiatives.
  • Cares for our consumers and products, acts with courage and strives for simplicity



Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years working in operations environment, direct operations planning or equivalent experience, ideally in Consumer Package Goods industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Previous supply planning of finished goods and supply chain experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple aspects of Operations Planning and Supply Chain including, but not limited to, financial analysis, master data, quality requirements, manufacturing, material lead times and capabilities.
  • Experience utilizing ERP software such as SAP and Business Intelligence.
  • Strong Excel, MS Word, and project skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex supply challenges into clear and concise updates for business partners.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and set priorities while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in collaboration and influencing teams and manufacturing plants.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills required.
  • Must be organized with excellent and effective follow-up skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think ‘outside the box’
