Plant Director

QLM Search has been retained by a highly acquisitive Specialist Manufacturer to recruit a Plant Director to lead a key strategic site.

Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will manage the leadership team of a major manufacturing site, take responsibility for setting strategic objectives and driving performance to exceed customer expectations.

• Leading the business, with full responsibility for P&L, capex and all functions on site to achieve strategic goals in line with group expectation;
• Driving the simplification of production processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of Lean methodologies
• Working collaboratively with customers and the commercial team to effectively manage and develop current and future business plans;
• Implementing and developing a continuous improvement mindset, accountability and communication across the site and a clear focus on delivery of core activities.
