Disaster Recovery/Emergency Management Training Opportunity
Are you interested in pursuing a career in the field of Disaster Recovery/Emergency Management?

We are an industry leader in Emergency Management Consulting and have established a training program to meet the ever-growing need of providing expertise to communities impacted by federally declared disasters.
Trainees will receive instruction in:
  • Overview of FEMA’s Public Assistance Grant Program
  • Understanding the steps required in development of the grant application for Federal funding of approved projects;
  • Developing Project Worksheets (PWs) for the purposes of determining project eligibility, scopes of work and estimating costs to repair or replace a facility/structure to restore it to its pre-disaster design;
  • Provide technical, cost estimating, and disaster recovery and/or management services while supporting technical professionals;
  • Interpret construction work to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications as well as FEMA Public Assistance policy and procedure, and
  • Conduct preliminary damage assessments (PDAs) in the field with Federal, State and local officials.
The minimum qualifications are:
  • Associates Degree;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Dependable, responsible, detail-oriented and organized;
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to work independently and with local stakeholders;
