The Senior Quality Manager will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP


POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Candidate will report to the Plant General Manager while leading a department of (6) Engineers, Quality Lab/Lab Manager, (25 total employees)
  • Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
  • Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
  • Candidate will work to train and develop (2) Quality Leaders.
  • Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
  • Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
  • Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
  • Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree is preferred for consideration
  • Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environment
  • Candidate should have a strong Quality Systems profile
  • Experience with Metals environment preferred
