Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, Controller Global Accounting & Operations will oversee all aspects of operations and consolidations accounting for the company. This includes managing working capital components such as (AP), (AR), and inventory accounting. Key responsibilities involve partnering with team members to ensure accurate consolidations, data, and reporting, as well as improving processes and internal controls. The role also includes significant interaction with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider, Infosys, and the outsourced accounting team in India.


Responsibilities:

- Lead the general ledger and consolidations process.

- Collaborate with Technical Accounting & Reporting and Inventory Accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

- Address complex accounting issues in partnership with the business.

- Standardize accounting practices across the enterprise.

- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidations close process and relevant accounting activities.

- Prepare or review supporting schedules, analysis, and financial reports/statements.

- Review and approve all intercompany entries and resolve discrepancies, training others as needed.

- Conduct detailed reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts.

- Ensure adherence to internal finance policies and controls, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and audits.

- Support the operations side of annual external and statutory audits.

- Manage detailed projects such as accounting system implementations, business process improvements, and enforcement of policies and procedures.

- Manage monthly corporate processes related to consolidations and intercompany inventory eliminations.

- Prepare, review, and analyze inventory eliminations at the consolidated level.

- Monitor the accuracy of standard inventory costing with robust variance analysis.

- Participate in transfer pricing and contract manufacturing processes.

- Review business unit E&O and other inventory reserves.

- Provide comprehensive financial updates regarding inventory at the consolidated level.

- Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory results in compliance with internal controls.

- Support inventory variance analysis and improvements in inventory consolidation accounting processes.

- Contribute to COGS and inventory budgeting and forecasting.

- Provide commentary and analysis of costs against prior periods, plans, and forecasts.

- Develop and document controls, processes, and procedures related to inventory and cost accounting.

Oversee all Accounting Operations


- 15+ years of accounting/finance experience

- Preferred experience in manufacturing, retail, or consumer packaged goods industries.

- BS in Accounting or Finance.
