Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Complex Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. If you have a strong background in personal injury law and complex litigation, with proven experience in managing all phases of litigation, they want to hear from you


Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Handle all aspects of case management, from inception to trial, including organizing and maintaining case files.
  • Discovery: Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, summarizing depositions, and organizing document productions.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including preparing trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Document Drafting: Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case status, and prepare them for depositions and trial.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support case strategy and development.
  • Court Filings: File documents with the court, both electronically and in person.
  • Investigation: Conduct factual research and investigations, including interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Paralegal certificate from an accredited program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury and complex litigation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis), document management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
