Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and equipment, leading projects from concept to production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for capital equipment.
  • Lead projects from initial concept through to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed mechanical designs and models.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and optimize production processes.
  • Implement design changes based on testing and feedback to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design processes and engineering calculations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks and Autodesk.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and practices.
  • Experience in designing capital equipment and machine components.
  • Familiarity with pneumatics and 3D CAD modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capital Equipment Machine Design experience
